Last day of Hanukkah, first day of the year. 2025 is here.
The movie I want to work on the most this year is the big Daklil movie that's been lying around for the past half a year. I didn't get to work on it a lot because of things like Artfight and the last two movies I've been working on.
The other reason is because I want to massively improve my art knowledge and skills, and so far, I really do feel like I improved since I started to work on it. I learned to draw skeletons, and even learned a little bit of perspective.
This is me taking the things I learned about skeletons, and attempting to stylize one.
Now enough talking about what I did the last year, I already did it last post, now I'm talking about what I'm gonna do this year.
I'll keep making movies themed around holidays. I already have some ideas waiting from last year.
That means that there would also be another Hanukkah Man movie, but until next Hanukkah, there's a lot of time.
Something I'm not sure if I'll actually make, but I have a vague idea for a Megadog movie. About Megadog fighting against Mechadog.
I also have two ideas which have been lying around since 2023. I remember I even made a post about one of them. It's about two characters. One is madly in love with the female villain in his video game, and the other thinks it's ridiculous and tells him to ''get real''. This gives the other character the idea to make a machine that can teleport people into his video game, thus making the villain he's in love with ''real''. When teleporting, he accidentally teleports the other character into the video game with him.
I'm not quite sure if I'll make it yet.
This drawing is kind of outdated.
The other idea I don't think I'll post in here, if I do make it.
Lastly, I'm making a comic book. Working on it made for a pretty good perspective practice. Though, I'll most likely not post it.
The cool thing about this comic, is that unlike everything else in this post, I'm actually working on this one consistently.
It sounds like I'm optimistic for this year, but I'm honestly being careful not to get too excited. I now see AI being used everywhere. Even in real life. Just this last year we saw AI beginning to make convincingly realistic videos (or at least, realistic for an untrained eye). Heck, these past few months, I began seeing AI video making it to TV! Only in commercials, that is, but it does make me worried for the future. And also the fact we are now closer to 2030 than we are to 2019. It's a very trivial thing, but it still makes me a little worried.
